A visit from the Mayor and Mayoress of Kingston!

On Thursday 23rd February 2017 we welcomed the Mayor of Kingston, the Mayoress and the Mace Bearer to our school. The Mayor led an assembly explaining his job and ceremonial dress. He then observed the parents and children engaging in family learning in the classrooms. We thoroughly enjoyed the visit.

Wonderful news! We’ve got our new school

Kingston Council’s Development Control Committee granted planning permission for the new Kingston Community School to be built at Coombe Road near Norbiton Station on the 21st April 2016. We had made a number of significant changes to the layout of the new school to answer the Council’s concerns from January.

The staff and parents are absolutely delighted with the news and we can’t wait to get started. We owe a huge debt of gratitude to our magnificent parents for their support and in particular to Juliet Turner and Jo Wehring, the co-chairs of the PTFA, for all their hard work to rally everyone into action.

Celebrating with James Berry, MP

On Feb 4th 2016 we celebrated our Founding families and staff. We enjoyed hearing about the children’s aspirations for the future and we spent time acknowledging the support and commitment made by our parents, staff and community supporters, including James Berry MP, Cllr Andrea Craig and Kings Church Kingston.
